THE FIRST BUYER OF ‘THE
TIES THAT BIND’
Towards
the end of April 2015, Mikhail Goldovskiy of the Russian Library Service in
Russia, called me and said he wanted to purchase 11 copies of The Ties that
Bind. So a few days later, I delivered the books to the hotel where he was
staying at the outskirts of Harare’s CBD, a day before he flew back to Russian.
He was the first person to buy the book soon after it had come off the printing
press. So, in Russia, there are reading The Ties that Bind.
