The Ties that Bind
I got so attached to the
characters. The writer got me hooked; I couldn’t wait to hear about them at the
end of each working day I read The Ties That Bind. It was such an emotional
rollercoaster. When the characters hurt, I hurt with them and when they had
good things to smile about, I also smiled at the words in my copy. The plot
came to life, the characters lived and I stood to watch all of the ups and
downs they went through. In fact, I lived with them. The author’s attention to
detail and believability made it all the more enjoyable to read. Whenever I
caught feelings, I’d send him a message and ask, “Why are you allowing this to
happen?” but he would just laugh and say, “It’s not me, the characters have a life
of their own.” True, they did. In the midst of it all – it was a story of hope.
One day is one day, there’s always hope.
